Cycling at Gresley, Swainspark and Tunnel Woods

Explore Gresley, Swainspark and Tunnels Woods by bike

Cyclists are welcome to use the surfaced trails at Gresley, Swainspark and Tunnel Woods. We ask that you don’t stray off these to help us keep these woodlands special and safe for everyone.

SUSTRANS National Cycle Route 63 passes through these woods, connecting you to the wider National Forest.

The National Forest Conkers Circuit also passes through here; a circular route ideal for all users and ages including walkers, cyclists and, in part, horse riders. It is easy to follow using the special CONKERS Circuit markers, has only gentle gradients in places and includes selected loops for people wanting a shorter route. This urban trail provided by the National Forest Company connects key urban woodlands in the heart of the National Forest. For more details of the routes, you can find National Forest Company map signs at Albert Village Lake, Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Wood and Conkers.
