An easy permanent orienteering course is located in Birch Hills and starts from School Lane car park.

Our permanent orienteering course is within the area surrounding the Tang Valley.

Idless Woods has a selection of orienteering routes for different levels of experience.

The routes are affiliated to Cornwall Orienteering Club and British Orienteering, and cater for all levels of expertise and experience. 

There are seven routes suitable for those who are beginners, intermediate and advanced. Maps can be downloaded from British Orienteering's Go Orienteering website.

The orienteering routes at Bedgebury are suitable for anyone looking to stretch their legs and their minds under the trees. Orienteering is an activity that you can enjoy at your own pace or relish the competition of racing against the clock, or each other.

A new way to explore the forest on your mountain bike - an orienteering challenge which explores the forest by using a combination of forest roads and parts of the Quercus mountain bike trail.

Navigate your way between control points to score as many points as possible in a fixed time.

Trail certificate and maps are available to purchase from the Visitor Centre during opening times and cost £1.50. You will need to drive to the trail start at the Adderstone Field car park which is about 5 miles (10 minutes) from the visitor centre.
