Who can join these sessions?

These sessions are aimed at improving the physical and mental health of those in most need, specifically those with mild to moderate long-term health conditions. 

Are the sessions run as a drop-in basis?

The walks will happen weekly and while people are free to come along to any session, they will need to register beforehand. For more information, please contact Lucy (for Chopwell Wood sessions) or Rachael (for Thames Chase sessions).

How do I join the Feel Good in the Forest walk or other activities?

Contact Lucy (for Chopwell Wood sessions) or Rachael (for Thames Chase sessions) for an informal chat to find out more about the group. They will then send you a short form to gather some information about you and your health. Once you’ve completed this form, you will be sent details about the activity.

How do I find where the activities start?

Lucy (for Chopwell Wood sessions) or Rachael (for Thames Chase sessions) will speak to you before your first session and let you know where the group meets. 

Is there a cost to join the sessions?

All sessions are free of charge to participants.

I don’t own a car, how can I get to Chopwell Wood or Thames Chase?

All sites can be reached by public transport. Please contact your local transport provider. If you are still unsure, contact Lucy (for Chopwell Wood sessions) or Rachael (for Thames Chase sessions) and they can point you in the right direction.

Is there a charge for group sessions?

There is not a charge for group sessions.
