Welcome to the Forest at Bedgebury Pinetum

Supporting communities across Kent and East Sussex

We’re delighted to introduce Welcome to the Forest, a pilot initiative running at Bedgebury until March 2026.

Open to registered community organisations and charities in East Sussex and Kent, Welcome to the Forest is designed for groups supporting people living with long-term health conditions or disabilities.

This programme offers small groups a gentle and supportive introduction to the beauty of Bedgebury, whilst providing an opportunity to connect with nature, and boost wellbeing beneath the forest canopy.

What to expect

Each session includes:

  • An introduction to Bedgebury and a chance to explore what we have to offer
  • A 90-minute exclusive woodland wellbeing session
  • Time to unwind in the café with free tea and cake, overlooking the peaceful lake

Whether you want to help your group experience the forest, try something new, or simply enjoy a peaceful day among the trees, we’d love to welcome you.
