Positive Steps for mental health

Positive Steps are a peer-supported mental health group focusing on moving for mental and physical health. They run a weekly 5km run from Grounds Café at Cannock Chase Forest Birches Valley for all ability levels in a no-pressure pace environment: we run as slow as the slowest runner. Sessions are FREE to attend for all.

They also offer monthly guided hikes on location giving people the chance to explore and gain confidence on the trails while benefiting from improved physical and mental wellbeing.

To check when runs and hikes are taking place and to keep up to date with all things Positive Steps please visit their Facebook group here!

Positive Steps meet Sundays at 10am by Grounds Café at Cannock Chase Forest Birches Valley. Attendees get FREE parking, nip to the Welcome Point to collect your pass.

If you are looking to attend regularly why not get a Forestry England membership and support your local forest? Annual membership includes free parking for the year. By becoming a member, you'll help support our forests and maintain the facilities for you and your family to enjoy.
