An enchanting after-dark illuminated trail through a festive forest – with new installations for 2022
Christmas at Delamere Forest will bring you bundles festive cheer as our spectacular installations and seasonal sounds sparkle through the forest.
Look forward to a magical time together with your loved ones as you discover glittering tunnels of light, trees drenched in jewel-like colour and wander beneath larger-than-life illuminations.

Trail entry time slots
To avoid overcrowding and ensure the enjoyment of all visitors on the illuminated trail you will need to select a time slot during the booking stage.
Time slots vary depending on the date, but generally take place every 15 minutes between 4.15pm to 8pm. Please ensure you arrive at the trail entrance promptly for your allocated start time. Advanced booking is essential.

To book family tickets, select 2 adults and 2 children and the family price will be applied automatically after you have added tickets to your basket.

All orders are subject to a single, non refundable transaction charge: £2 per transaction.
*You will need to book one 'trail entry and parking' ticket per driver in your party, then select 'trail entry only' tickets for each passenger within your party.
Parking
There is a charge for parking at this special event. If you plan on arriving by car, please make sure that you book parking with your tickets.
Offer for Delamere Forest members
We are offering all Delamere Forest Members one free parking space, when booked in advance. Make sure that you are logged in to your membership account and purchase an ‘adult trail and parking’ ticket, our booking system will automatically change the price to a trail only ticket at checkout and allocate your free parking space.
Please note, this is not available in conjunction with any other offer.
On the day visit
We strongly recommend booking ahead for your visit to Christmas at Delamere Forest to get your preferred date and timeslot. After 11.00am on the day of the trail, tickets can no longer be booked through Forestry England. You can still check availability to book for a same day visit, through our official ticketing partner See Tickets.
Quiet Access Sessions
These sessions are for adults and young people, with additional needs, who would love to experience Christmas at Delamere Forest without the usual high volumes of people. For Christmas at Delamere Forest 2022, these will be held at 4pm on Friday 2 December and Tuesday 20 December.

Ride Tokens
We will have two traditional fairground rides for children (age restriction of 2-12 years old): swing boats and a children's toy ride. Ride Tokens are an add-on product and should only be purchased by trail ticket holders. We advise you to only pre-purchase if the age requirements are met.
Each token is priced at £2.50 and is sold in multiples of 2. Single tokens will also be available to purchase on the night on-site.

*A post trail survey will be sent to the email address provided. You are under no obligation to complete the survey but doing so will help in planning future activities.
*Attendees must follow the latest UK government COVID-19 guidance in place at the time of the trail.
*The sale of any articles in the gangways or anywhere within the illuminated trail is strictly forbidden except with the written permission of the Organisers. The Organisers reserve the right at their absolute discretion to confiscate any such articles for infringements of the condition.
*Please check all your tickets on purchase, as mistakes cannot always be rectified
