This September we're hosting a free activities taster day so that you can try something new. You can explore Bedgebury with a Get Active taster session, bookable in advance or join on the day. 

Stay healthy and keep fit by joining one of our wellbeing activities. Discover geocaching, orienteering and pinetum walks or try our new waymarked running routes from 2km – 10km.

Choose from the taster sessions below and phone 01580 879820 to secure your place. Alternatively just turn up on the day to take part, places are subject to availability. You'll receive free vehicle admission when you join an activity.

parkrunA 5k timed run 9am start-all abilities, register here for your barcode. Arrive by 8.40am.9am, self led
Wadhurst runnersA friendly group of intermediate runners, routes include sprints, endurance and hills.9am - 10am, 10am - 11am, 11am - 12pm and 1pm - 2pm
Go Ape zip wireClimb the Zip Wire backwards as fast as you can.9am -10am and 10am - 11am 
1 hour session, equipment included
YogaOutdoor yoga postures, breathing, meditation for mental and physical wellbeing.
Suitable for everyone, ages 16yrs+

Primal Roots pilatesOutdoor traditional pilates with a mix of dynamic cardio.10am - 11am and 12pm - 1pm
Buggy FitnessBring your baby buggy and join in a mix of cardio and resistance exercises with plenty of adaptions.10am - 11am

You can trade in your free admission activity card (worth £13) for discount on Friends of Bedgebury Pinetum membership. Becoming a member gives you unlimited annual vehicle admission, so that you can visit as often as you like, plus access to other botanic gardens.
