This is a great women only ride if you have never mountain biked and want to see what it’s all about. It would also be good if you are returning to the trails after a break away or even if you fancy a more relaxing ride in the forest. We will be riding forest tracks and sections of the blue grade Quercus trail. Mountain biking is great fun and a good way to get fit, so come along and give it a go!
What to bring: A mountain bike, a hybrid with mountain bike tyres or a gravel bike with suitable tyres, a helmet and gloves are essential. Please ensure your bike is in good working condition. Check your gears and brakes at least the night before. If possible bring a spare inner tube, tyre levers and a pump. A drink for along the way & a snack if needed.
What to wear: It is a good idea to wear layers as it will be cold to start but you will warm up quickly. Bring a waterproof jacket if there is any chance of rain.
If you need to cancel your place it won’t be a problem just let us know before the ride so we are not waiting unnecessarily for you, especially if it’s raining.
