Guided sunrise walk

Come all you blithe spirits and early risers who enjoy watching the world throw off the dark duvet of night and burst into sunshine and bird song.

Join our Ranger-led May Day walk through Whinlatter Forest, to see the peaks of Skiddaw and Grizedale lit up with the sunrise, listen to the dawn chorus and bury your toes in a green carpet of rainforest moss (optional!) There’s a chance of seeing birds of prey, soaring the first thermals, shy roedeer, and red squirrels feasting amongst the Scots pines . What better way to celebrate this best of Spring Festivals?

Refreshments of tea/ coffee and pastries are included in the price along with car parking.
