Events at Whinlatter - Tree sales centre just behind Cyclewise

Your Christmas begins at Whinlatter Forest with a special late-night opening on Thursday 2 December. 

Join us to select your perfect Christmas tree from hundreds of spruces, firs, and pines (4ft to 8ft) in the fresh, wintery air of our beautiful forest.

Handmade Designs by Sarah Louise will be here to demonstrate how to make your very own tweed raggy wreath in the colours of your choice that will look lovely not just for Christmas, but for all year round. Demonstrations throughout the event and kits will be available to purchase.

We will be joined by Charlotte from Eskdale Beads who will have some fabulous special offers on her handmade jewellery.

We'll also have a mini craft workshop with Go Your Own Way 5 to 7.30pm. Buy and decorate your own unique wooden baubles, featuring specially created Whinlatter Forest or Lake District fells designs.

Alpacaly Ever After will be us, with the Whinlatter Alpacas for a meet and greet outside the Visitor Centre from 5-6pm, so come and say hello to the team and the Woolly Army!
