Mindfulness can create joy in running, helping us to connect with our bodies and practice awareness and gratitude for ourselves and the nature around us. It can also help you focus on good technique, knowing how to run effectively and being aware of how you are moving can boost your performance and reduce the likelihood of developing an injury
It is a brilliant technique to learn if you have fallen out with running, or want to learn how to stay present and in the zone on an ultra (or any!) run.
Jen, Mindfulness coach, and Jo, Run Leader and PT, will lead you on an easy paced run, with lots of stops to explore mindfulness and running techniques.
The event will last approximately 90 minutes, with running no more than 5-10 mins at a time.
Final details will be sent out a few days before the event.
