A brilliant 8 week course for anyone wanting to take up running, get back to running, gain confidence on trails, build fitness, motivation and find the joy of running. This isn't a traditional couch 2 5km, it is aimed at building your confidence to do a 5km/10km run, but isn't focussed on time specifically. We want you to be happy tackling hills (up and down), different terrains and just generally enjoy the run/walk. Each session is different, and we visit different locations around the Whinlatter/ Keswick area.
The course offers a personalised 8 week plan for you based on what we see at the first session and a fitness questionnaire. There will be 1 coached run per week, plus 2 for you to do (maybe even with other members of the group!) inbetween. The cost also includes options for a free JAGO class, nutritional advice, two social runs with a post run drink and cake and online support available throughout.
