An easy permanent orienteering course is located in Birch Hills and starts from School Lane car park.

The orienteering routes at Bedgebury are suitable for anyone looking to stretch their legs and their minds under the trees. Orienteering is an activity that you can enjoy at your own pace or relish the competition of racing against the clock, or each other.

There is a permanent course at Jeskyns, designed by Dartford Orienteering Klubb. Various trails are available for children and families, beginners and experts.

You can choose to follow one of our suggested routes or you can choose your own combination of controls. You can use the pack for a timed competition or you can take your time and just enjoy a new way of exploring the forest.

There is one orienteering permanent course in the forest which has been specially designed for beginners and school groups. Anybody can have a go!
