Westonbirt 10K Postponement FAQs

Do I need to contact the Customer Relations Team to confirm my place in September?

No – you will automatically be entered into the May 2021 10K run and there is no need to contact the Customer Relations Team to confirm your place. Your race pack will be posted to you no later than two weeks before the May event date.

What if I want to cancel my place?

If you are not able to make the new date, then please email the Customer Relations Team on customerrelations@forestryengland.uk  no later than 30 September and they will arrange for your place to be cancelled, process your refund and confirm this back to you by email. Any requests for cancellations received after the 30 September will be subject to our usual terms and conditions. Please note that due to COVID-19 our Customer Relations Team are currently working remotely and will be unable to answer phone calls. The best way to contact them is via email, and your patience is appreciated at this busy time. 

What if I want to cancel after the 30 September?

Any requests for cancellations received after the 30 September will be subject to our usual terms and conditions.

Can I change participant details instead of cancel?

Yes, provided you let us know any changes no later than 48 hours before the event by contacting customerrelations@forestryengland.uk. After race packs have been sent out it will be your responsibility to forward this on to the runner taking your place.

Please ensure you do let us know about any changes so that we have an accurate participant list. This is vital for safety reasons. If you are discovered using someone else’s race number you will be removed from the race and banned from all future sporting events.

Is my ‘refund protection’ fee refundable?

If you took out the optional ‘refund protection’, this is carried over to your new booking for May 2021.

If you choose to cancel your place in the Westonbirt 10K in May 2021, as we have provided a full refund of the ticket face value, a refund protection claim is not necessary or applicable. The refund protection product has provided cover for you between the time of purchase and the time of cancellation and therefore in line with Booking Protect terms and conditions the refund protection charge is non-refundable.

Will any cancelled tickets be opened up for resale to the public?

Any available places for cancelled tickets will be offered to those on the waiting list in the first instance. We do not anticipate that any further tickets will be made available to the wider public, however you can still join the waiting list online.

When will more information on the May 2021 run become available?

We will send out more information on the May run in April next year, with details of the route, what to do when you arrive etc.
