Expressive Drawing and Intuitive Sculpture

Keziah Burt and Miranda Carter are running playful and relaxed drawing and sculpting workshops in the tranquil setting of Westonbirt Arboretum. The workshops are approximately 2 hours long and are repeated at 10.30am and 2.30pm so you can choose either the morning or the afternoon session (or do one of each throughout the day!).

Miranda’s session will focus on expressive mark making using natural materials found in the woods. There will be both individual and group work with the emphasis on being ‘in the moment’ and enjoying Westonbirt’s unique environment.

Keziah’s class will involve creating textured, abstracted clay forms inspired by Westonbirt. The session will focus on developing your intuitive sculpting skills using your hands and found materials to craft a sculpture to take home with you
