Enchanted Christmas returns to Westonbirt Arboretum with a new trail for 2019!
Put the sparkle back in your family Christmas, and set out on the all new Enchanted woodland illuminated trail at Westonbirt Arboretum….
The fairies have been up to mischief at Westonbirt Arboretum this winter, casting spells over the trees to transform it into an Enchanted wood. Wind your way through the trees to discover an enchanted wonderland of light and magic, meeting woodland characters along the way.
Our popular Christmas village is back ready for you to soak up the seasonal cheer by creating some Christmas arts and crafts with the family, exploring the Christmas market stalls and warming up with a cup of hot chocolate or mulled wine…
Voted number 1 last year as being Britain's Favourite Christmas Light Display, Enchanted Christmas will be highlight of your Christmas celebrations this year.
With an all new trail to explore, new light displays to discover and new magical characters to meet, this is Enchanted Christmas as you’ve never seen it before…
Friday 29, Saturday 30 November, Sunday 1 December.
Friday 6, Saturday 7, Sunday 8 December.

- Adults: £15.
- Concessions (students & job seekers): £13.
- Children (aged 5 - 18): £7.50 (under 5s go free).
- Friends: half price tickets and £2 for children on Friday evenings.
- Groups 10+: save £2 on adult and £1 on children tickets.
- Access: Carer goes free.
Trail entry time slots
To avoid overcrowding and ensure the enjoyment of all visitors on the illuminated trail you will be prompted at time of booking to select a time slot to begin exploring the trail. Time slots are every 20 minutes from 5pm – 7.40pm. Please ensure you arrive at the trail entrance promptly for your allocated start time.
Relaxed Sessions - Sat 7 & Sat 14 Dec, 4pm - These sessions have now sold out
The trail will open 1 hour early at 4pm and will be adapted to suit those with additional needs such as autism. For example, strong flashing lights, loud sound effects and smoke effects will be temporarily deactivated. All usual functions will resume ready for the general public to enter the trail at 5pm.
Dogs are not permitted on the illuminated trail, except assistance dogs.
Food and Drink
Westonbirt restaurant and local food carts will be selling seasonal food from 4pm - 8pm
Trail fully accessible for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, prams and push chairs.
