If you are unable to book online, then please contact us via phone on 03000 680 400. Our Customer Relations team are currently working from home and so you may need to leave a message with your name and number and a member of our team will call you back as soon as they can.

How will my tickets arrive?

Your tickets will arrive in the form of an email with a PDF ticket attachment. To help save on paper there's no need to print the PDF attachment if you can show us the downloaded E-ticket on your phone on arrival.

Can I book at the last minute?

If tickets are still available, online sales will close half an hour before each performance is due to start. Please note that all tickets must be bought online and cannot be booked at the arboretum.

Can my tickets be changed?

Unfortunately, tickets are in high demand so are not interchangeable.

I can’t print my tickets – what should I do?

We're encouraging our visitors not to print their tickets unless they don't have a phone to show their downloaded E-ticket on.

I can't find my tickets - what should I do?

Please contact our Customer Relations team who will be able to resend your tickets. Once e-tickets have been resent, any previously issued tickets are not valid, so it is vital you use the latest set of tickets or the entry scanners will not permit you access.

Is there a concession or senior citizens price?

There is no concession rate.

Do children need to pay?

The performance is recommended for children aged 6+ due to the dark themes in the Grimm's Fairy Tales. However younger children can be brought at parents' own discretion. Children aged 3-18 require a ticket. Children under 3 are free of charge.

What happens if I cannot attend?

Unfortunately, due to the high demand for tickets, they are non-refundable and not interchangeable. We strongly recommend that you purchase the ticket insurance available when booking in case you are unable to attend.

Is it wheelchair/pushchair friendly?

There is a 700m hard path from the Welcome Building to the performance area. The performance area itself is off the path and on grass. Should the weather make ground conditions unfavourable, an accessible area will be installed.

Is there a policy for Personal Assistants?

In line with our admission policy, an essential personal assistant has free entry. The personal assistant will need to book a free ticket and this can be done either online or by phoning the Customer Relations team on 0300 680 400.

Can we book a wheelchair/mobility scooter?

We do have free wheelchair/mobility scooters available, but they are in demand and we have limited stock so early booking is recommended. Please do this by emailing the Customer Relations team

Are dogs allowed into the event?

As the event is held in the Old Arboretum, dogs are not permitted. Assistance dogs are the exception and are welcome to the performance.

What is the start/end time of The Grimm Sisters?

Performances will take place at 12.30pm and 3pm. Audience members should meet promptly at the Great Oak Hall 15 minutes before the performance start time and from here will be guided to the performance location. The performance will last approximately 60 minutes.

Can we arrive earlier in the day?
