Take some time to enjoy the patterns in nature
In today’s world, it’s easy to find we don’t have time to let our brains simply daydream. Taking the time to allow your mind to wander through its imagination might be all the playtime you need today. So take up a hammock… consider the canopy above you and the shape formations. Feel the breeze on your skin, where does this take your mind?
There are patterns everywhere in nature called fractals; a perfect pattern which repeats itself, like a pine cone. Experiencing fractals through sight and touch can help reduce stress by as much as 60 per cent! They are also so perfect that they can make us feel awe: an emotion which helps take us out of ourselves, pause and feel joy.
