Winter Scrapcrafting with Peace&Craft

Discover the peace of crafting simply for the joy of it and learn to look at your scraps differently with me in these scrapcrafting sessions. You’ll enjoy an inspirational collection of remnant materials from my 'scraps buffet' - textiles, papers, haberdashery, fibres, lace... reclaimed, vintage, luxe, surprising... always beautiful and always interesting.

Follow demonstration examples and gentle steered guidance to create your own decorative (this is not a toy or suitable for giving to children), handcrafted heirloom item. Treat yourself to indulgent time to play with gorgeous fabric textures, materials & threads to create a very special seasonal themed project. 

Craft or sewing experience is not essential but very welcome. Whether you've never put thread to needle, or are a skilled crafter already, this is a no-rules creativity that focuses more on process and experience than results. Take time for yourself, get lost rummaging in a basket of gorgeous scraps, let go of expectations and embrace the opportunity to play with colours, textures and gorgeous materials in like-minded company. Be immersed in zero pressure creativity - you might be surprised what it awakens or leads you towards!

Price includes all materials, tuition, any entry fees to the venue, tea/coffee & light baked refreshments. Own snacks & drinks are welcome if you have dietary considerations.

Shared tools will be available to use on the day - participants sometimes bring their own sewing kit and fabric scissors as well as any special pieces of fabric or embellishments they might like to include in their project. Regular participants may bring an ongoing project to continue.
