Come and join our hands on volunteer days at Waterdale Park (near to Drinkwater) on either 24 November or 8 December, helping to manage the vegetation around an coppicing area.
As well as making some new friends, you will find out all about the ancient technique of coppicing and help to improve habitats and footpaths while gaining valuable new woodland management skills.
Please bring with you a packed lunch, we will provide the tea, coffee, biscuits and laughs. Suitable clothing and footwear for working outdoors should be worn that are warm and waterproof and that you don't mind getting dirty.
No experience needed, all the tools and guidance will be provided.
