Our Forest Management Plans

What is a forest plan?

Forest plans are created for forests and woodlands managed by Forestry England. The plans outline the character and attributes of a forest area and describes the work we will do in the next decade, to manage the woodlands in our care.

Forest plans are listed for each district below.

A forest plan will:

  • provide a description of the woods as they are now.
  • outline the main points considered when deciding what is best for the woods.
  • describe how the forest will develop over time.
  • give specific information about approved tree felling, replanting and regeneration over the next ten years.

When new plans are created they are added to this web page, if a forest is not listed here please get in touch by emailing enquiries@forestryengland.uk.
