Women+ Offroad Cycling Community Building Workshop

Project FIAS (Fostering Inclusive Action Sport) will be holding a free workshop to support the ever growing need to develop communities of mountain bikers as a mechanism for addressing inequalities in the sport.

This workshop is for anyone wanting to set up or grow a mountain biking community serving women+, teenage girls, adaptive riders, and any other groups you don't see enough on the trails.

The workshop is part classroom discussion, part ride, and all peer-support. It is based on the FIAS community-building toolkit, underpinned by rigorous research with community catalysts who have set up thriving communities of women+ off-road cyclists.

The workshop will also include a community clinic, where you are invited to bring and share your community-building conundrums for discussion and help from the group.
