Here come the vikings.... Regia Anglorum Weekend

Regia Anglorum return to Sherwood Pines over the weekend of 27th and 28th September.

They will be taking us back to the year 867 when the Viking Great Heathen Army and the armies of Wessex and Mercia faced each other near Nottingham.The usual format for each day involves warrior training in the arena in the morning followed by a battle in the afternoon. Throughout the day you will be able to visit the living history camp, speak to the experts and watch the skills required for everyday life over a millennium ago.

The living history camp and arena are on the field near the cafe and activities should take place between 10am and 4pm.
