Horse riding at Great Hockham

We have a Open Access policy for horse riding at Great Hockham.

There is a bridleway that runs along Bambridge Lane that us suitable for horse riders. The areas north of the railway line is best suited to horse riding as this is away from the concentration of visitors using High Lodge and the cycling trails. Please see the OS explorer 229 for a map of riding trails. 

No permit is needed to ride at Great Hockham.

This trails are shared trail, please be aware of other forest users.
Deboxing areas can be found at the east end of the Harling Drove and north of the railway line at Santon Downham.
