The Habitat trail - children's wooden play sculptures

Please note the following for the Habitat Trail:  The Dormouse is open, but the Owl, Woodpecker and Tunnels remain closed in-line with current Government guidance. We will review the situation regularly and hope to re-open these play facilities as soon as we can.

The Habitat Trail is an exciting children's route which features amazing wooden play sculptures. Journey further into the forest and you and your family will be greeted by an amazing array of forest creatures.

Children can climb a spiral staircase inside a tree trunk, home of the woodpecker, or run up an owl's back and see the forest through his eyes.

The final area on the route is a network of tunnels that gives children the chance to feel like a rabbit in a warren or a badger in a sett.
