Since 2020, we are proud to have collaborated with DPD – helping the fight against climate change through our tree planting and sustainability work.
To date, the support of DPD’s Eco Fund has helped restore wildlife-damaged forests, planted more than 12,000 trees across four woodlands, and created new spaces for local communities.
Now our partnership is expanding once again – with a further 12,000 trees being planted in West Sussex and the East Midlands, boosting biodiversity and woodland resilience at these special forest sites.

Growing the future
Through partnership working, Forestry England are able to deliver more for the nation’s forests than we could alone, with our work ensuring local communities can continue enjoying these vital spaces for nature.
Thanks to DPD’s support, we have installed a timber shelter (main image above), benches and tree planting at Hamsterley Forest in County Durham – creating a brand new wellbeing area for visitors to enjoy for years to come.
We have also been glad to welcome DPD colleagues to our sites to help plant the new trees – helping staff connect with to our partnership work and promoting the health and wellbeing benefits of spending time in nature.
