Build a Nature Nook at Bedgebury
Event details
Calling all young nature lovers and budding eco-engineers!
Join us this May half term to build your very own Bedgebury Nature Nook, the perfect bug-friendly habitat crafted from natural and recycled materials.
What to expect
Using a cardboard tray template, shredded paper, toilet rolls and pine cones from your Nature Nook pack along with treasures foraged from the forest floor (like leaves, moss, and twigs), you’ll create a cosy retreat for bugs and beasties.
Please remember: only collect what's already on the ground. Help us protect our trees by leaving them untouched.
Pop into our Information point and see if you can solve the mystery of the animal tracks that have recently appeared. Can you guess which woodland creatures left their mark?
Don’t miss our exciting Centenary BioBlitz on Thursday 29 May!
Join experts to discover, identify, and record as many species as possible in one action-packed day of bug spotting, pond dipping and more.
