Discover Creech Woods in the Run-up to D-Day 1944
Creech Woods contained a major military camp hosting about 4000 troops prior to the Allied invasion of Europe in June 1944. Join members of Project 71 to see what remains of the assembly camps, otherwise known as marshalling areas A11 and A12, and what life was like for those stationed here in the run-up to an event that changed world history.
Staff from Forestry England will be present on both days.
