Events at Hicks Lodge - Grounds Cafe

Join Wild Minds for a series of natural craft sessions that will provide you with a range of different decorations for your home for this festive season. Each week, we will complete a different craft activity and build connections with those who have joined us at this special time of year.

Wednesday 26th November: Woodland Stars & Garlands

Wander through the winter woods and gather natural treasures to craft your own rustic star decorations and woodland garlands. Using only foraged materials, you’ll create beautiful, sustainable pieces that capture the simple magic of the forest.

Wednesday 3rd December: Pinecone Trees & Forest Friends

Discover the charm of the forest floor as you turn pinecones, twigs, and moss into miniature Christmas trees and woodland creatures. A playful and mindful session that brings nature’s textures to life through creativity.

Wednesday 10th December: Foraged Winter Wreaths

Twist, weave, and shape your own wreath from ivy, willow, and pine gathered in the woods. Celebrate the season with a natural, handmade decoration that carries the scent and spirit of the winter forest.

Wednesday 17th December: Woodland Lanterns & Gift Tags

Embrace the stillness of winter light by creating your own nature-inspired lanterns and rustic gift tags. Using foraged leaves, bark, and twine, you’ll craft gentle reminders of warmth and gratitude for the season ahead.
