Welcome to Orienteering

Run by our friends at City of Birmingham and Harlequin Orienteering, this free event is a great way to learn about or gain more confidence in orienteering skills.

What's On Offer:

• 1-mile timed course – Try race-style orienteering with temporary markers at 20 checkpoints and electronic timing
• Three self-guided courses – Navigate using our new permanent posts, either recording checkpoint codes manually or via the MapRun app

Friendly helpers will be available throughout the day to show you the ropes until you're ready to tackle a course independently. All equipment including compasses, dibbers, and electronic timers are provided, so just bring yourself and your sense of adventure!
