This summer, join us for an unforgettable journey through time and nature as we celebrate 100 years of the Wyre Forest – the country's largest woodland National Nature Reserve!

Pick up your Wyre Forest Adventure Passport and set off on an exciting trail across our partner sites and heritage locations. Each stop holds a new adventure: collect a unique picture rubbing stamp and unlock fascinating stories about the forest and the people who shaped it.

Here’s where your adventure will take you over the course of your summer holiday at local venues:

  • Wyre Forest: Explore ancient trees and unique wildlife in the arboretum, including the rare Whitty Pear!
  • Natural England: Find out how they care for one-third of the forest and keep it thriving for future generations.
  • Bewdley Museum: Immerse yourself in history – try traditional crafts, listen to old tales, and even visit the town's original jail!
  • Wyre Community Land Trust (St. George’s Farm, Ruskin Land): Discover sustainable crafts made from felled timber, meet the friendly Dexter cows, and enjoy apple juice straight from forest orchards.
  • Severn Valley Highley Station Engine House: Explore the captivating history of the old railway line and get a close-up look at impressive steam locomotives!

Return your completed passport to the Wyre Forest visitor centre to collect your free goody bag and be entered into the grand prize draw, which includes a year’s membership to Wyre Forest, Stick Man goodies, and more!
