Nordic Walking at Haldon Forest Park
Nordic walking is a great, low impact workout and burns 20-40% more calories than walking normally. By using specially designed Nordic Walking poles you work all of the major muscles in the body, without putting unnecessary strain on your joints.
If you have your own poles, choose from our waymarked 2.5K, 4K or 5K Nordic walking routes.
Fiona Swan, Nordic Walking instructor, offers regular Nordic Walking Classes suitable for all abilities where you can meet like-minded people and improve your fitness. Training and poles are provided. If you would like to give Nordic walking a try, Fiona also runs free taster classes throughout the year.
