Parking tariff changes 2023
High Lodge parking and Membership charges have been reviewed after remaining the same for the past 2 years. Our aims are to ensure that High Lodge is financially viable whilst continuing to offer a good value, high quality visitor attraction.
We have taken the decision to standardise the hourly rate at £3 per hour. In some tariff brackets this only increases the hourly charge by £1.

The ‘All day’ rate (4hrs +) is increasing to £15 and remains the most cost-effective way to pay for a single visit. High Lodge is open 9am-5pm in the winter and 9am-7pm in the summer – if you stay all day (8hrs) you pay as little as £1.90 an hour.
High Lodge remains one of the cheapest visitor attractions in East Anglia with many competitors charging £15 or more per person. Due to our charge being per vehicle; the more family and friends you get in your vehicle the more cost effective your day out is.
Play areas, waymarked walk trails and cycle trails continue to be included in the parking charge along with many other services and facilities for a fun filled visit.
The High Lodge Membership increases to £70 for a year – this is calculated roughly as 5 all day visits and costs less than £1.35 per week. The membership also offers lots of local and national discounts and benefits.
2023 will see the introduction of National Membership which will include free entry to Forestry England sites nationwide. National Membership will be just £94 and will be available to purchase soon.
