Symonds Yat Rock cafe

Body

This family-run cafe provides great, home-cooked food in the stunning setting of Symonds Yat Rock.

The log cabin-style building was originally built in 1956 in readiness for the Queen’s visit the following year. A lot has changed since then, and visitors today can enjoy freshly prepared food and drinks while taking in the spectacular views of the Wye Valley. The menu includes:

  • gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and vegan options
  • fresh home-baked cakes
  • breakfast options (between 10am and 12pm)
  • sandwiches and paninis
  • pasties
  • children's meals
  • a range of hot drinks including freshly ground, triple-certified, organic coffee

The food is locally sourced wherever possible and only 100% compostable take-away products are used. The cafe is takeaway only, but is surrounded by picnics benches for you to use.
