Your spookiest adventure under the stars awaits…

This October, a brand-new illuminated Halloween trail will transform High Lodge, Thetford Forest into a glowing, ghostly wonderland. As the sun sets and the forest darkens, follow a trail of glowing lights through the trees.

Beware - the darker it gets, the spookier it becomes. Strange sounds, sudden surprises, and shadowy figures wait around every corner...

If you’re searching for a fun Halloween experience with your family and friends this is the perfect event! It’s taking place during the October half-term, meaning that your kids can dress-up in their favourite spooky costumes and you can give them a memorable experience during their time off.

Dogs are welcome too, so your furry friends can join in on all the fang-tastic fun!

Limited capacity with timed entry. Plan now to secure the date and time of your choice.

Prepare to discover:

  • an eerie backlit woodland, where shadows move when you’re not looking
  • dense spider webs stretched across the path
  • glowing eyes watching from the trees
  • a dazzling laser garden that distorts the senses
  • interactive selfie stocks for the perfect photo - if you're brave enough to step in!

And much more! You might even catch the legendary Headless Horseman lurking in the woods...

Fiendish Food & Wicked Treats

Between frights, fuel up with frighteningly good eats. From bewitched burgers and freaky fries to hot toddies and decadent hot chocolates, there’s something for every little monster and grown-up ghoul alike.

*separate charges may apply

The trail remains the same at all times of day. Younger visitors may prefer to experience the trail with the spooky surprises in plain sight on a daylight session, whilst those hardier guests may only need the moonlight. Whatever time you visit, the trail is suitable for guests of all ages.

Relaxed Session

This session is for adults and young people who would love to experience Halloween at Thetford Forest without the usual high volumes of people. The session will begin in daylight before the illuminated trail opens to the public, making the transition into the dark much easier. This session will be held at 4pm on Monday 27 October.

The capacity of this session will be limited to ensure that the trail remains less crowded and more relaxed.
