This in-person training course will provide you with the skills, experience and certified qualification to run your own Forest School programme. Set in the beautiful grounds of Westonbirt Arboretum, this course is designed to inspire and equip those who would like to broaden or change the way they work and to set up and run sessions working with people, in nature.
Training days which consist of both theory and practical tasks. There are five Units of Study at Level 3:
- supporting Learning, Play and Development in the Outdoors
- observation and Evaluation of Outdoor Learning
- sustainable Use of Natural Resources
- teach Outdoor Practical Skills
- forest School Leader
Be inspired by the Forest School approach to teaching, learning and play and the huge potential that it has to enhance the way children learn and learn how it can support your school curriculum.
