New play area - COMING SOON!
Coming soon to Delamere Forest!
A brand new hillfort-themed play area is being created at Delamere Forest.
This will be located on the mound near the Visitor Centre and facilities, and has been made possible thanks to Defra 'Access for All' funding. This means we have really focused on finding out about what sort of things the local community would like to see to help welcome and include as many fun seekers as possible, regardless of any additional needs they may have. By using our Inclusive Play Principles, and consulting with local people, we look forward to being able to open this great new facility and see lots more people able to play together in the forest.
Work is currently underway and is scheduled to be completed ready for opening in late Spring 2026.
