100% Mini Downhill at the Forest of Dean Cycle Centre

We love having so many people visit us during these events, but it does mean our car park can get very busy. To help you plan the best place to park, there are a few options available.

Alternative parking

As always, we ask that people park considerately and not to leave wasted space between vehicles. Do not park on or drive over verges even when our car park is full.

If our main car park is full, visitors can park at either Beechenhurst or Cannop Ponds. Both car parks are a five-minute drive away, and both are connected to the Cycle Centre via the Colliers Trail (so you can ride to the Centre off-road). Beechenhurst benefits from an on-site cafe and toilets, if you fancied a quieter break during an event.

Event parking

As our main car park can easily reach capacity during events, we are offering free event parking in the field at Worcester Lodge (GL16 7EG). This will be open to vehicles from 8am to 4pm.

There will be three waymarked routes from Worcester Lodge that attendees will be able to cycle along to reach the Cycle Centre. The longest blue route will only take 10-15 minutes. The shortest orange two-way route includes a steep hill, which some may want to walk down/up.
