Horse riding at Wendover Woods
Horse riding at Wendover Woods - great riding in the Chiltern Hills
Wendover Woods offers some of the best riding in the Chilterns; with a network of well signed permissive bridlepaths throughout the wood.
We allow horses on our waymarked riding trails which are all linked and in total about seven miles long by permit only. There are no public bridleways running through Wendover Woods.
A permit is needed to ride at Wendover Woods. Valid day passes or Memberships can be purchased directly from the Wendover Woods Information Point. Both day and annual permits will need to be purchased in advanced either in person or over the phone (01296 696184)
All riders must have valid insurance. We do not allow any horses at the Forest Centre.
