Join artist Debbie Kersley for a full-day nature journaling workshop.
Nature journaling is a gentle, creative practice of exploring the natural world through drawing, writing, and slowing down to look more closely — deepening our connection with nature and ourselves. Create your own journal pages and leave with simple, inspiring ways to continue exploring and noticing the natural world.
This workshop invites you to slow down, notice more deeply, and experience the arboretum from a different perspective.
During the day we will move between outdoors large-scale observation among the trees and indoors classroom exploration of smaller details. Working with leaves, cones and other autumnal treasures, we will explore journaling as a way of enjoying, observing and connecting with nature.
You don’t need to be ‘good’ at drawing to enjoy nature journaling — curiosity and noticing are much more important than artistic skill. Through simple step-by-step exercises and guidance, we will explore drawing as a way of seeing more closely.
Art materials and hot drinks provided.
Discounts are available for booking more than one workshop, or for booking together with friends.
