Amanda Grist, Chief Financial Officer

Amanda is our Chief Financial Officer and joined Forestry England in June 2022. A Chartered Accountant with a degree in Equine Science sees Amanda with a breadth of experience. 

Amanda has held senior finance roles in a variety of businesses, including corporate hotels and events, solicitors and in her previous role at an organic dairy co-operative. Amanda is responsible for our Finance, IT, HR and Commercial Services teams and sits on our Board. 

Amanda’s interests include dog agility where she competes at a high level with ‘Fortune’, her Working Cocker Spaniel, and she enjoys walking and travelling when spare time permits.
