The bridge in Dog Kennel Wood at Bignalls Wood is currently closed. This unfortunately means the horse route/ shared grassy rides are not able to be used as a circular route. All other trails remain open as usual.

Explore Bignalls and Jaguar Lount Woods on horseback
Horses and riders are welcome at Bignalls and Jaguar Lount woods. A shared use route is open throughout the spring and summer months and takes you through a large part of the outer forest on maintained grassy tracks. This route merges with surfaced trails in some parts so please take care around other forest users.
Please note that there is no dedicated horse box parking at this site. We recommend using the National Forest’s extensive network of bridleways to explore the site and beyond.
