For many of us, forests hold special memories of people we love. Perhaps it was a forest where you walked together, a favourite view of theirs, a place where they loved to run or cycle, or somewhere you simply enjoyed spending quality time together under the trees.
At Forestry England, we have a range of ways for you to celebrate the memory of loved ones who are sadly no longer with us. By setting up an online tribute page, you can create a special place where family and friends can share photographs, memories and messages. You can also collect donations in their memory, create and share funeral notices, and even dedicate a bench in the forest.
Their memory can live on. Create a tribute today and remember your special someone.

Create a tribute
A tribute page is an online space to celebrate and remember someone special. Through our partnership with MuchLoved you can create a free page, personalised with photographs, videos, memories and messages. It's easy to invite family and friends to contribute too.
You can also use the page to light virtual candles, mark birthdays and anniversaries, and raise donations in their memory. These donations help support the work of Forestry England and our commitment to caring for the nation's forests for everyone, for generations to come.

Find an existing tribute
Has someone already created a tribute page in memory of a loved one?
Search for their page and join family and friends in remembering them. Leave a message, share a memory, light a virtual candle or make a donation in their memory.

Create a funeral notice
If you're arranging a funeral or celebration of life, you can create a free online funeral notice.
It provides one place to share the details of the service with family and friends, including the date, time and location. You can also include information about donations, special requests and other details that people may need to know.
A funeral notice can be a helpful first step after the loss of a loved one, and can later become part of a lasting tribute to them.
Dedicate a bench
There are also ways to create a lasting physical dedication in one of our forests across the country.
A dedication bench can provide a permanent place to remember someone special in a place they loved, while helping to support the care and protection of the nation's forests.
