Woodland Creation in Staffordshire

A new woodland in Staffordshire

Bagots Park Wood, close to Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Stoke-on-Trent, is a 303-hectare woodland creation project. At Forestry England, we're leading England’s largest woodland creation programme, and this is one of the largest woodlands to be established in the country for over two decades.

This significant new woodland will link a series of fragmented wildlife habitats, creating connected wildlife corridors that will support important wildlife species such as three native newts, bats, badgers, woodland birds and plants such as the spotted marsh orchid.

By planting a diverse mix of tree species, we will give this woodland the best possible chance of adapting and surviving in our changing climate and from the increased threat from pests and diseases.

Investment from partners like you enables us to do more for communities, wildlife and nature. With your support, we will be able to plant a greater diversity of tree species, create new habitats for priority species and secure this new woodland for generations to come.

Support us from £50,000 per year

If you are interested in supporting the creation of this new woodland, we can work with you to develop a partnership package that meets your objectives around sustainability, staff engagement, customer communications and more.
