Woodland creation in Lincolnshire

A new woodland in Lincolnshire

Hagworthingham Wood is a 102-hectare woodland creation project, located around 30 miles east of Lincoln.

At Forestry England, we're leading England’s largest woodland creation programme and will transform this site over the coming years. By increasing woodland cover, we will create homes for wildlife and space for local communities to find balance, adventure and escape.

This new woodland will support species including hedgehogs, bats, birds, and pollinators, while capturing carbon, cleaning our air and providing us with a sustainable source of timber. We will ensure it has the greatest possible chance of adapting and surviving in our changing climate and from the increased threat of pests and diseases, by planting a diverse range of tree species across the site.

Investment from partners like you enables us to do more for communities, wildlife and nature. With your support, we will be able to plant a greater diversity of tree species, create new habitats for priority species and establish this new woodland for generations to come.

Support us from £50,000 per year

If you are interested in supporting the creation of this new woodland, we can work with you to develop a partnership package that meets your objectives around sustainability, staff engagement, customer communications and more.
