Lumberjills' Treasure Trail at Dalby Forest

Embark on an exhilarating treasure hunt!

Your self-guided adventure will lead you through the magical woodlands of Dalby Forest, filled with lush greenery and hidden secrets. Traverse scenic trails and vast valleys as you unravel sneaky clues to uncover a missing golden axe.

Get ready for an exciting self-guided treasure hunt that will take you on a magical journey through the mystical forest of Dalby. Starting at the Visitor centre, your quest will lead you along the Ellerburn Trail, a mainly even and level route that is perfect for explorers with limited mobility.

But beware-the creatures of the forest are out to both help and hinder you! The sprites can be a little mischievous, but they're on your side and working with the birds to protect the treasure. The ogres, on the other hand, want to melt the axe down into gold coins. Can you find the axe before they do?

Are you ready to embark on this magical adventure and uncover its secrets?

What is a Treasure Trail?

A Treasure Trail is a fun and exciting way to get exploring outside, turning a walk into an adventure with a themed treasure hunt!

Treasure Trails are fun for children and adults of all ages. There are clues of all difficulties to solve, so it's as much fun for the parents as the little ones.

You will be immersed in the Lumberjills' backstory as you work together to find the hidden treasure.

The Treasure Trail is completely self-guided, with easy to follow directions, so there’s no need to book; you can set off on your adventure whenever you like.

Ideal for kids aged 6 to 10, this 2-mile 'loop' trail takes approximately 2 hours to complete at your own pace. Solve the quest and be entered into a £100 monthly draw.
