Ignite their imaginations with play amongst the trees.

Dalby Forest offers a range of play facilities from structured play to wild play, allowing them to explore the great outdoors whilst staying in a safe environment. There is something available for all ages and abilities.

Grandfather Oak play area

Swing, climb, hide and spark their imaginations at the Grandfather Oak playground in Dalby.

Test their climbing skills on this fun playground with so much for the mind to explore. Hide away in our wooden teepees, clamber on the climbing frame or making their way around the playground and find their joy in the wild play area.

Den building is highly encouraged!

The Grandfather Oak playground is next to the Visitor Centre with seating for adults, meaning you can enjoy a brew, cake or some lunch with full view over the play area.

Why not grab some food and drink from our nearby cafes?

Adderstone play area

At Adderstone, the large open field is the ideal place to ignite those imaginations or play ball games.

Pack the bag with a football or frisbee and enjoy the space to have fun and games. Outdoor games can be bought from the Visitor centre shop. With wooded areas skirting around the field, there is plenty of room for the avid den builder. From Adderstone play area, you can easily access the Gruffalo Orienteering, with the Stickman Trail a short 10-minute walk away
