New event shelter open day

Groups coming to Cannock Chase Forest will soon be able to benefit from a new inclusive and sustainable outdoor shelter in the popular Pine Needle Glade event space. The outdoor shelter will offer a dedicated space for school visits, activity groups, birthday parties, community organisations and other group sessions, helping visitors connect with nature whatever the weather. 

Forestry England are hosting an open day at Cannock Chase Forest, providing an opportunity for school teachers, community group leaders, activity providers and families to view the new shelter and explore how the space could support their activities. 

Attendees will be able to meet members of the Forestry England team, take a look around the facility and find out more about booking the venue for school visits, birthday parties and organised group sessions.
