Join us for a celebration of our members in our Members' Week at Dalby Forest.
Members' Week will see us host a range of activities, exclusive discounts and special events. Head to the Visitor Centre throughout the week to discover all the special treats that await. Make sure to bring some proof of your membership along. Spaces for the events are limited, booking is required.

Feathered Friends Bird Box & ID Workshop
Join us for our Feathered Friends Bird Box & ID Workshop, a fun 90 minute session designed especially for children. Hosted by Charles and our brilliant volunteers, budding nature enthusiasts will assemble and decorate to their own bird box, identify which birds are found in Dalby Forest and enjoy some fascinating facts about British birds. Grown-ups are welcome to stay, or pop over to the café, just a stone’s throw away - if their little ones are feeling confident. A hands on, friendly workshop perfect for curious young bird enthusiasts.
When: Saturday 10 October, 11am - 12.30pm and 1.30pm - 3pm

Pressed Flower Lanterns
Take some time out and join us for a gentle, mindful craft session where you’ll create your own beautiful pressed-flower lanterns.
This is a relaxed workshop, designed as an opportunity to slow down, switch off and enjoy the simple pleasure of making something by hand. Working with delicate dried violas, petunias and botanicals, many of which have been grown by your host, Jemma, you’ll create a unique lantern to take home.
Please note: this is a delicate, mindful crafting session and is not a children’s activity. It’s perfect for adults looking for a peaceful hour to be creative, unwind and make something beautiful. This event is suitable for ages 14+.

Wildlife in the Woods Guided Walk
A relaxed walk along the wellbeing trail learning about how the nation's forests are managed for wildlife, identifying things we see along the way. The walk will end with a chance to plant some native trees and wildflowers to take home with you. You’ll also receive a complimentary drinks voucher to enjoy a warming beverage at the Dalby Forest Café upon finishing the walk.

Join us for a relaxed and welcoming yoga taster session, perfect for beginners or anyone curious about trying yoga.

Art Workshop: Watercolour Scene
Join us for a relaxing two-hour watercolour workshop, where our friendly volunteer Jo will guide you step by step in creating your own beautiful hand painted scene. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to try something new, this colourful, hands-on session is the perfect way to unwind, learn new techniques, and let your creativity shine. All materials provided along with tea and coffee for the duration of the workshop.

Pinecone Fabric Decoration
Join us for a cosy, creative workshop and learn how to make your very own fabric pinecone decoration. Over approximately 2 hours, you’ll be guided through the process step by step, creating a beautiful handmade piece to enjoy at home or give as a thoughtful gift. No experience needed, just come along, get creative, and enjoy a relaxing crafty session with us!

Tic Tac Toe boardgame workshop
Get creative and make your very own rustic Tic Tac Toe game to take home. Using natural wooden tree slices as the game board, children will decorate smooth pebbles with colourful acrylic pens to create their unique game pieces. This workshop is perfect for children who enjoy taking their time with painting, colouring, and adding detailed designs. Once complete, they'll have a fun handmade game that can be enjoyed again and again with family and friends. Suitable for children who love arts and crafts, creativity, and mindful making. All materials are provided.

Nature Collage
Join our friendly volunteer, Jo, for a relaxed fabric collage workshop where children can create a beautiful nature-inspired picture using a variety of colourful fabric scraps.This mindful craft session encourages children to take their time as they carefully select fabrics, textures, colours, and patterns to build their artwork layer by layer. Perfect for children who enjoy detailed arts and crafts, this workshop offers a calm and rewarding experience, allowing young artists to watch their picture gradually come to life as they add each carefully chosen piece. Suitable for children who love crafting, creativity, and working at their own pace. All materials are provided.
