Swap screens for trees with Wildbound Forest School this summer at Jeskyns Community Woodland.
These sessions offer children the chance to develop outdoor skills, enjoy creative play, and experience real adventure in a screen-free woodland setting where muddy hands and muddy boots are all part of the fun!
What to expect
Expect den building, tool use, nature exploration, woodland games, bushcraft activities, and plenty of child-led free play. Every session is designed to build confidence, resilience, creativity, and a connection with the natural world.
Book a morning or afternoon session, or bring a packed lunch and stay for a full day of woodland adventure.

How much? £15 per child per session.
Parking? Parking charges apply unless a Forestry England member.
What should I wear? Forest School runs in most weather conditions, including rain and cold. Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the conditions, including covered arms and legs to prevent scrapes, waterproofs, waterproof shoes, hats and gloves, sun hats, sun cream and safe enclosed footwear (no sandals).
